These terms cover the Fun Time Call telephone line at +1 424-550-9002 ("the line") and this website, funtimecall.com. Calling the line or using the site means you accept them.
What the line is
The line is a free entertainment and information service. It announces the current Pacific time with a tone, the temperature in Los Angeles, and on request a short weather forecast, recent earthquake information, and a magic 8-ball answer. That's the whole product.
What it is not
The line is not an emergency, safety, navigation, or professional information service. Time, weather, and earthquake information is relayed from public sources (the National Weather Service and the U.S. Geological Survey) as-is and may be delayed, cached for several minutes, or wrong. Do not rely on it for decisions where accuracy matters. The magic 8-ball is a toy and its advice is, legally speaking, not advice.
Cost
We don't charge for calls. Your phone carrier's standard rates for calling a U.S. number apply and are your responsibility.
Acceptable use
Don't robocall, war-dial, flood, or otherwise hammer the line with automated calls, and don't attempt to disrupt the service or its infrastructure. We may block numbers or callers that do.
Availability and changes
The line is a hobby service provided with no uptime commitment. We may change the menu, the voice, the number, or shut the whole thing down at any time without notice.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" with no warranties, and the operator is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the line or the site.
